The full name is "Krung thep ma ha na khon bavon ratanakosin mahinthra ayutthaya mahadilok phop noppharat racchathani burirom udom ratchaniwet maha sathan amon phiman awa tan sathit sakkathatiya vishnu kamprasit" When King Rama III in Ratanakosin. The King change the name form "Ba von" to "A mon".The maining this name is "City of Angels, Great City of Immortals, Magnificent City of the Nine Gems, Seat of the King, City of Royal Palaces, Home of the Gods Incarnate, Erected by Visvakarman at Indra's Behest."
